Bienvenido! We’re excited to ignite your child’s love for Spanish through our high-quality, engaging programs. We foster a fun and supportive community where your needs always come first.

New Enrolments

How does it work?

We are a private online educational centre.  First time students may enrol anytime during the term (we strongly encourage before week 5) but can only begin lessons once the payment has been received.

For NEW students only, the term fee will be prorated to the number of lessons remanding. For ongoing students, a FULL TERM prepayment is required.

Please note we cannot credit untaken lessons for upcoming terms.

How does it work?

  • We run with the NSW school terms calendar
  • We publish our timetables and expected lessons at least one term in advance at SpanishMI Timetable
  • Generally, students take one lesson per week during a ten-week term.

How do we collect personal Information?

  • SpanishMI generally collects personal information from individuals through forms filled out by parents or guardians, face-to-face meetings, interviews, emails, and telephone calls. We require consent from all parties involved before collecting any personal information.

Ongoing Enrolment

How does it work?

  • Ongoing students enjoy a priority renewal every term.
  • On week 7 of the current term, you will receive an email to confirm your kids’ attendance for the following term. Please reply with one of these:
    • Yes, I want to continue:
      • Great! A new tax invoice will be issued for the upcoming term.
      • You will have two weeks to pay and secure the spot.
      • If we do not receive a payment, we will open up the spot to the waiting list
    • No, I do not want to continue:
      • Sorry to see you go. No further action is required, but we would love to get feedback from you. It helps us grow and improve.
Cancellation Policy

I need to cancel during the term

We understand that unexpected things can come up, and we want to assure you that it’s okay to cancel. If you do need to cancel, please send us an email at agrillo@spanishmi.com.au with the date of cancellation. However, we regret to inform you that we won’t be able to provide refunds or make-up lessons at this time. Thank you for your understanding.

Pricing Policy

Changes to Lesson Fees

We are committed to being the best in town and keeping our fees as low as possible. However, sometimes we will have to adjust our fee schedule. In this case, we will give you a minimum of two weeks’ notice.

Discounts

Can I have a Discount

Oh yes! You can have a 10% discount if:

  • Bring a friend! If we get a new enrollment because of your recommendation, you will get a 10% discount in the upcoming term.
  • You enrolled three siblings. (First and second kid’s fees would be full price, and third and ongoing siblings will get a 10% discount).
  • Your child takes more than one lesson per week. (Excluding Babies & Toddlers Lessons).
Make-up Lessons

To book a Make-up lesson:

If your kid misses a lesson and you want to have a make-up session, please note:

 

  • Make-up lessons are valid for the current term that the notified class was missed. Unused lessons can not be transferred to the next term.
  • Booking a make-up lesson

    • Notify via email or text message with at least 12 hours notice. If notice is not provided within this required timeframe, you would not be eligible for a make-up lesson.
    • Preferably, make-up lessons should be taken during the same week as the missed class at the same level/age group. We suggest this to ensure the continuity of our curriculum.
    • For make-up lessons, we cannot guarantee specific teachers, days, or times. We will do our best, though to cater to your preferences.
    • If a make-up lesson is missed, it cannot be re-booked. 
Media

Photos & Videos

We are a growing business and an essential part of showing our excellent work is sharing photos and videos of some of our lessons/activities. We will use these for our website, social media and printed advertisements.

However, we understand and respect you if you do not want your child to be featured in any of these. In this case, please make sure you informed us directly via email or in the special comments sections of the enrolment form.

If you are staying in the lesson, you are also welcome to capture your little one speaking Spanish on camera. However, be mindful that a language lesson requires minimal distractions. We appreciate your deference to all students, teachers and fellow parents.
